Pest control saftey data.
Leeds pest control recognises its duties under Health and Safety legislation and will take all reasonably practicable steps to prevent any risk to health arising from its pest control treatments.
We will ensure that all Pest Control tecnicians are properly trained and qualified to carry out pest control treatments.
Before carrying out any Pest control treatment we will carry out a risk assessment. This usually means that poison will be laid in protected secure bait containers, and will be positioned so as to minimise the risk of interference by children and animals. Poisons used to clear rodents contains BITREX which makes the poison unpalatable to humans and most pets.
Occupiers of premises where bait or insecticide has been laid, will be given information detailing the type of pesticide / rodenticide used.
In the case of rats and mice we will revisit the premises to check the effectiveness of the treatment and to collect unused rodenticide as well as searching for dead rodents wherever practicable.
