Fleas are external parasites most commonly assosiated with cats. Fleas suck blood from their host usually a cat or dog but will also feed from humans. Fleas are capable of jumping a considerable distance.

Remove items from the floor such as toys, decorative items etc so that the whole floor area can be treated.
Remove articles from under beds and furniture as these areas also need to be treated.
Vacuum floors and upholstered furniture as eggs and pupae may be present in these areas.
Dispose of the vacuum bag after vacuuming into an outdoors refuse bin.
Pets should be treated using a prescription flea treatment.
Pets should be excluded from your house until 4 hours after the treatment.
